STATEMENT

In my artistic practice, found materials

and objects are used to generate meaning in a non‐hierarchical manner. Methodologically, the Deleuzian rhizome functions as a model for artistic experimentation, which underlines the transfunctionality of art, a concept central to my research. In general, my work explores cultural values, consumerism and globalization through playful visual games that reference technology, biology and a sense of everyday routine. Also, there is a high degree of chance and coincidence in my practice, allowing a diverse set of themes to evolve in my production.
